Hadestown: Teen Edition is a bold, electrifying folk-opera that intertwines two mythic love stories — young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and the powerful, complicated bond between Hades and Persephone.

StageAntics & Music Theatre International Australasia
Pilot Workshop Registration - Tapanui | 7–12 July 2026

Register now to be part of an exciting pilot workshop in collaboration with Music Theatre International Australasia and StageAntics.

This is a unique opportunity for performers aged 10–18 to work intensively across a week to help shape a brand new Broadway JR musical. Participants will workshop material that is still in development, with the programme being filmed and shared directly with the writers as part of the final creative process.

Who Can Register

• Ages 10–18

• Able to commit to the full week of rehearsals

Workshop Details

• Dates: Tuesday 7 July – Sunday 12 July 2026

• Time: 9:00am – 4:30pm daily

• Location: Tapanui

• Outcome: A public showing of work on Sunday 12 July

Programme Fee

• $325 (incl. GST)

• Please note:

  • This pilot programme does not include a production t-shirt

  • Performers will present in performance blacks

  • Tickets for the showing will be sold separately to the public

StageAntics Queenstown Show in a Week
28 September – 3 October 2026

Register now to join StageAntics for a in our 2026 Queenstown Show in a Week - title/s coming soon!

Registrations are open for all 9- 18 year olds - any level of ability or experience.

If we get over eat registrations we will look to open a second show and create a double bill split by age 9-13 years | 14-18 years

Requirements.

Please keep Sunday 27 up your sleeve as if we get the numbers and need to split into two shows we will need Sunday to rehearse
Monday 28  -  Wednesday 30 September -  Memorial Hall, Queenstown |  9am - 430pm
Thursday 1 October - Memorial Hall, Queenstown | 9am - 6pm 
Friday 2 October  -  Memorial Hall, Queenstown |    Memorial Hall, Queenstown |  Show #1 & #2

Saturday 3 October - 12pm call for 2pm Show #2 stay on and then 5pm call for Show #3 6pm start and Pack out

FEE:  $375 incl GST

Includes production and a show tshirt
Tickets to watch the production will be open to the public at an additional cost.
