Disney's Dare to Dream JR showcases 40 incredible youth performers from Tapanui, Otago, and Southland. Perfect for the summer holidays, this vibrant 70-minute musical revue is the ultimate family outing—packed with energy, heart, and that unmistakable StageAntics spark.
Follow a group of bright-eyed trainees on their first day at a fictional Walt Disney Imagineering Studio as they uncover their dreams and discover how imagination can inspire, uplift, and unite us all.
This high-energy production blends a century of Disney magic with songs appearing on stage for the first time, alongside beloved favourites—brought to life by an enthusiastic cast who create the entire show in just one magical week.
With its mix of contemporary hits, timeless classics, and joyful medleys, Dare to Dream JR promises a feel-good theatre experience for Disney fans of all ages. Celebrate the holidays with a heartwarming journey that reminds us that when you dare to dream, anything is possible.

Our 2026 StageAntics programme is all about confidence, creativity, connection and bold performance.
No matter what age, whether you’re brand new to the stage or ready to take your training further, we’d love to have you with us.
This form is for applications for weekly lessons and classes with StageAntics for 2026.
Classes begin from Monday 17 February, allowing students time to settle into the school year first.
Most terms run for 8–9 weeks.
🎤 1:1 Lessons
• Spaces are limited and allocated based on availability.
• Lessons are weekly and for the year - t's and c's apply re withdrawing
• Available across all StageAntics locations
In-studio lessons (GST included):
• $30 – 30 mins (10 years & under)
• $37.50 – 30 mins (11 years & over)
• $55 – 45 mins (11 years & over)
• $65 – 60 mins (11 years & over)
Online (Zoom) lessons (GST included):
Flexible scheduling based on teacher availability
• $30 – 30 mins
• $47.50 – 45 mins
• $57.50 – 60 mins

Group Classes (Non-Production)
These classes are not linked to a specific production. They focus on either drama or musical theatre, building performance skills, confidence and creativity in a supportive environment. Class structures may be adjusted depending on age, stage and overall enrolment numbers. Group Classes have a showing of work twice a year for whānau and friends.

Our production classes lead into fully staged StageAntics shows and have their own dedicated registration forms.

Once your registration is received, you’ll get a confirmation email.
In mid to late January, you will be notified whether your selected classes are going ahead and of your lesson/class schedule. At this time, you will also receive:

We’re also open to alternative locations if demand exists, and additional staff may be brought on if numbers are high.

Welcome to StageAntics 2026 Senior Production Class! Hadestown Teen Edition – Takapuna
Where bold voices, big stories, and epic theatre moments come to life.
We are beyond excited to open registrations for our 2026 Senior Production Class featuring the jaw-dropping, heart-thumping Broadway phenomenon Hadestown Teen Edition! 🎶🔥
If you’re 16–19 years old at the time of registration/ rehearsals starting — whether you’re stepping onto the stage for the very first time or you’ve already lived your best life under the spotlight — this is your place. Everyone is welcome!
🎭 Programme Overview
Our Senior Production Class runs across Term 1 and Term 2 — just over a term and a half — finishing early June.
You’ll train, rehearse, perform, and collaborate with other passionate performers as we bring this musical to life.
We will be looking for looking for named roles, onstage ensemble as well as a pit ensemble who will be fully costumed and visible throughout the full performance.
To ensure we can deliver the highest quality experience for everyone involved, we may need to cap participant numbers. If registrations exceed capacity, we may move to a traditional audition-based casting process for all applicants.
Should this be required, we will communicate this promptly. You will be notified by the end of November, with audition details provided, so that no one is left waiting or unable to explore other opportunities for Terms 1 and 2.
💲 Programme Fee – $400 incl. GST
Payment plans are available on request.
Students who take private lessons with us are eligible for a multi-class discount.

Ready to Rock the Stage?
We’re excited to open registrations for our 2026 Production Class in Takapuna, featuring the high-energy hit Camp Rock the Musical!
This programme is open to all 10–16 year olds, with any level of experience — from first-timers to seasoned performers. Everyone is welcome!
🎭 Programme Overview
Our Production Class runs across Term 1 and Term 2, with casting auditions held as part of the class process. This is just over a term-and-a-half commitment (through to late June).
